Well. I've been working a lot on Azrael's history for a while now, between commissions and such, and this is to illustrate that he's not all that confident. Azrael had a lover about two or three years before the present, and he really loved her, even going so far as to buy an engagment ring. But he had decided long before that he would never marry someone or move in with them without them knowing the fact that he is a pansexual. The woman in question called him disgusting, and left him without ever looking back. So this is Az, on the three year anniversary of that date, wallowing in the street near the dance club he's so fond of now, still thinking about her, and whether or not he truly is disgusting. Azrael is now a polygamist because he figures that, the more people he sees, the less likely he is to fall in love so hard that breaking up would leave him a wreck.
